Expectations of the Players/Program - showing up to every practice ready to play and improve their game, they should hold themselves to a high standard when it comes to sportsmanship and willingness to help one another both on and off the field.
Expectations for Myself – I plan on holding myself to similar expectations ready to go during practice as well as games. Being a teacher, I show respect to all parents and plan to bring this to the field. I will show players the skills needed to win lacrosse games to the best of my ability.
My Best Quality - My ability to breakdown movements and skills needed to be successful on and off the field.
Playing Experience – 9 years through High School
Awards – Most Improved Player Award, Senior year our team had the best season in school history.
Coaching Experience – 3 years at High School level
Expectations of the Players/Program – To build on the foundation of the team at Campo Verde, to have enough players for both a JV and Varsity team, and to help recruit more young men and introduce them to the game of lacrosse.
Expectations for Myself – Learn from the other coaches and to develop into the best coach I can be for the players and program as a whole.
My Best Quality – Enthusiasm for the game and I thrive when a member of a team when everyone wants to get better.
Playing Experience –10 years, started playing freshman year of high school. Played at Westminster College in Salt Lake City Utah. Lax Dawgs club team.
Awards– 2006 Granite Hills High School; The Korey Schlegel Award: Annually awarded to the player who demonstrates the most tenacity and perseverance, 2007 National Championship (Westminster College)
Coaching Experience – 7 years, Middle School and High School
Expectations of the Team – players come in ready to work hard but also have fun. I want to team to learn the game of lacrosse but also the aspects of good teamwork and sportsmanship. Practice like you play and work hard, but also have fun.
Expectations for myself – This is my first year coaching in Arizona, but it gives me an opportunity to confine being around the game I love. I will come to practice ready to teach and give the players advice and words of encouragement in order to have them improve their skills as a lacrosse player but also as a standing member of the community.
Best Quality as a Coach – Patience; I understand lacrosse is a tough game and a lot of players might not have the knowledge or skill set they desire; I will make them work hard but also encourage having fun!
